Incident Occur In Albion Exhibition Center

Police are interested in a black pickup truck that was quickly leaving the scene at the time of the crash.

On Tuesday, more than $ 10,000 in gift certificates were stolen from a safe owned by a local Christmas basket company at the Albion Exhibition Center, police said.

Ridge Meadows RCMP is looking for anyone with information about the September 22nd incident around 5:30 a.m. Police have so far been interested in a black van that was spinning out of the area at the time of the crash.

RCMP is investigating a break-in and theft of local business. Police rarely disclose the name of a victim or a company, but do share that information publicly with the company’s permission as these stolen gift cards are directly to aid needy families for the upcoming holiday season, the RCMP said. “If you are walking your dog at this point, you may have dash cam footage or video surveillance of suspicious objects in the area. Contact the police,” he said.
