He posted on Instagram: “Hello, it’s Navalny. I missed you. I still can’t do much, but yesterday I managed to breathe all day.
“Only on my own, without extra help, not even a valve in my throat. I like it very much. It is a remarkable process that is underestimated by many. Strongly recommended.”
Navalny is depicted with his wife and two children in the Instagram post.
The 44-year-old Putin’s critic was taken to Berlin for treatment at Charite hospital two days after falling ill on a domestic flight to Russia on August 20.
A German military laboratory determined that Navalny had been poisoned with Novichok, the same Soviet-era agent class that Britain claimed was used on former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter in Salisbury, England in 2018.
On Monday, the German government said tests carried out by laboratories in France and Sweden confirmed their findings.
The Kremlin was angered by calls from German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other leaders to answer questions about the poisoning, denying any official involvement.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused the West of using this incident as a pretext to introduce new sanctions against Moscow.
French President Emmanuel Macron’s office said on Monday that it expressed “deep concern over the criminal act” that aimed directly at Navalny with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Kremlin said Putin’s appeal “highlighted the inadequacy of unfounded charges against the Russian side” and underscored Russia’s request for Germany to send analyzes and samples.
Putin also asked for joint work by German and Russian doctors.
Navalny’s spokesman Leonid Volkov declined to give details of Navalny’s possible plans after his recovery, when contacted by the Associated Press on Tuesday.
