Suspects were arrested in connection with the December murder of a North Carolina woman, police said.

According to the Winston-Salem Journal, David Mejia Luna, 26, and Andres Mejia Arellanes, 38, were charged with the murder of Maria Del Carmen Cedillo Figueroa, 28, according to the Winston-Salem Police. Police said the woman died from multiple gunshot wounds on December 7th.

Police said Luna and Figueroa were together. Police also said Luna and Arellanes were cousins. Further details on the case were not immediately released.

Arellanes was held without bail, but Luna’s status was not available online on Wednesday. It is not known whether any of them had a lawyer to speak on their behalf.
