New Jersey authorities say a budding nurse found dead in her apartment more than a month ago was killed by one of her neighbors,

The victim and the suspect live in the same apartment complex in Elizabeth. On Monday it was unclear if they were acquaintances.
Burr’s arrest was announced Friday.
Ingram’s body was found around 11:30 p.m. January 4. Police were dispatched to his home after family members requested a social check.
Authorities found the young woman seriously injured in the apartment and shortly after, rescuers immediately pronounced Ingram dead.
“An investigation by the [Union County Homicide] Task Force and with the support of members of the Elizabeth Police Department and the Union County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit identified Burr as a suspect. in the case, and his home was arrested Wednesday night without incident, “the prosecution said.
Grat is being held without bail. In addition to the murder, he was charged with two unspecified firearms offenses.
He has yet to appear before a judge to plead guilty. If he is convicted, he could be sentenced to life in prison.
Burr has yet to hire a defense attorney to speak on his behalf.
Ingram studied nursing. He graduated from Linden High School in 2016.
“It was a brutal crime that interrupted a clearly young and promising life,” Lyndsay V. Ruotolo, acting Union County attorney, said in a statement. “Although this arrest will not bring Ms. Ingram back, we hope that she will bring some comfort to her loved ones.”
