A suspect wanted in the double murder of an Alabama woman and her 18-year-old son is in custody after a four-day escape

It is not known whether Kenney will be represented by a lawyer who can speak on his behalf.
A citizen provided information that led to Kenney’s arrest, Garrett said. Crime Stoppers will issue a $ 2,000 reward in this case once Alexander City police investigators confirm the information, al.com reported.
At around 11pm on Monday, Alexander City police responded to a riot and found two victims who died from gunshot wounds. The victims were identified as Stephanie Nicole Motes, 40, and their 18-year-old son Cody Lane Motes (both from Alexander City).
Kenney lived with the Motesi, Garrett said.
The suspect fled the scene wearing a purple Chevy Geo Tracker. Kenney dropped the vehicle at an RV park in Kellyton, but was released on Friday prior to his capture.
