Parscale’s wife called authorities at her home in Fort Lauderdale
Parscale’s wife called authorities at her home in Fort Lauderdale at about 4 pm, saying her husband was threatening to hurt himself and had access to several weapons, officials said.
Fort Lauderdale police said in a statement that Parscale, who was demoted by Trump in mid-July, was the only person in the house at the time.
The police managed to convince Parscale to leave safely.
“The officers made contact with the man, developed a relationship and negotiated safely to leave the house,” the Fort Lauderdale Police Department said in a statement.

Parscale, 44, who is still a senior adviser to the Trump campaign, was taken to the hospital.
He was fired by officials under Baker state law. The law allows the police to detain anyone who may harm themselves or others.
Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh responded to the development in a statement late on Sunday.
“Brad Parscale is a member of our family and we all love him. We are ready to support him and his family in whatever way we can, ”said Murtaugh.
“The disgusting personal attacks by disgruntled Democrats and RINOs went too far, and they should be ashamed of what they did to this man and his family.”
Parscale was replaced as a campaign manager by Bill Stepien.
In the months leading up to the remodeling, Parscale was described by campaign members as being in the process of becoming extinct, leaving more work for its employees.
He was stripped of his post as a campaign manager shortly after President Trump’s much-publicized but infrequent rally in June in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This marked the president’s return to his electoral career amid the coronavirus pandemic.
