Philadelphia police try to track down the suspect who killed Dunkin “Donuts Store Manager after robbing the store”
Surveillance footage shows the suspect forcing the store manager inside, leading him to a safe in the kitchen, and finally handing him money.
Store manager Christine Lugo, 41, was shot in the head shortly thereafter and pronounced dead on the spot.

Philadelphia police are trying to locate a suspect who killed a manager of the Dunkin ‘Donuts store after robbing the store.
CCTV shows a black man approaching the store manager when he opens for the day around 5:30 am. Saturday and start talking to him.
He is then seen grabbing it with his left hand, holding a gun in his right, and forcing the victim through the door.
Later, the images show them in a pantry, where the manager is sitting in a box with the cash drawer on his lap.
He hands the man an unknown sum of money, which he keeps in his left trouser pocket and looks at his watch.
The store manager was shot in the head at 5:51 am, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported, and six minutes later, when police arrived at the scene, he was pronounced dead. The suspect fled, police said.
The victim was identified as Christine Lugo, 41, a mother of two and a “friendly, smiling grandmother,” according to CBS 3 News.
“She was an angel, a mother to us all,” said Larry Evans, a store employee who joined a mourning group outside the West Kensington store on Saturday to pay their respects to Lugo. “It doesn’t matter who you are, she’d give you the shirt she takes off her back.”
The regulars also said she always remembered their orders.
“She was a special person,” Gilberto Meléndez, a former employee, told ABC News. “It’s crazy that someone could come and take someone’s life as nothing.”
Dunkin ‘Donuts Corporation also said in a statement: “We are aware of the tragic incident at Dunkin’ restaurant on Lehigh Street in Philadelphia. At Dunkin ‘we are all saddened to hear the death of’ a restaurant manager and our hearts are with his family and friends.
He added: “The franchise owner is cooperating fully with the local authorities in their investigation.”
The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 30 and 40 with a medium to chubby mustache and goatee.
At the time of the robbery and murder he wore a blue zippered hoodie and gray sweatpants with light gray New Balance trainers with an analog watch on his right wrist, blue gloves and a face mask.
