Claira Janover graduated in May

Claira Janover, who graduated in May with a degree in government and psychology, went viral after posting a short clip in which she attacked anyone with “the cheek, the absolute right to say” all life counts “‘”. .

“I’m going to stab him,” said the Connecticut native, approaching his face.

“I stab you and, while you are fighting and bleeding, I show you my paper clip and I say,” My cut is also important, “” he added.

Ann Coulter was one of the people who shared the clip, calling Janover “Karen Asian”, while many others called for the student’s arrest.

“This woman threatens people who know what she can do,” Len wrote.

“Doesn’t that count as violent speech? I think it only counts when it matches the story, ”asked another Twitter follower.

Janover released the original video

Janover released the original video on Tuesday – but released updates in response to the “crazy” reaction which included numerous death threats, she said.

“Story time why the Homeland Department may be monitoring my name now,” she started one of the updates.

Janover said the clip was “clearly” a “similar joke,” noting that she even posted a message explaining, “For legal reasons, this is a joke.”

“And people are like denouncing me for domestic terrorism, identifying the FBI, Harvard, the Cambridge police,” she said.

“Apparently, I am threatening people’s lives – unlike the police, of course,” she said.

“Anyway, if I get an email from the Department of Homeland Security or if I’m kicked out of Harvard or if I’m arrested or anything – or if I’m murdered, according to numerous threats from dead that I receive now – know that I thank you for defending me, ”she said while posting a series of messages of support.

Previous post angry responses from TikTok

In a previous post, she laughed at many angry responses from TikTok – including one suggesting that she might be a Chinese spy with a name that sounds Western to help infiltrate the United States.

One called a word C, while another wrote, “Maybe someone should stab him because he is oppressive! She’s the problem, and everyone loves her!

“They literally blew up my Twitter,” she said.

Tuesday before midnight, Janover tweeted about the “death threats, rape, expulsion and dismissal” he received.

“I will not be silenced, embarrassed or threatened to be silenced by fanatic fanatics who do not understand the analogies,” she wrote.

Her message received a lot of support – as well as many responses from “all lives are important,” some saying, “You reap what you sow.”

“I’m a fanatic not to like your violent hate speech. Riiiight. You are a sick person,” one person told him.

Another noted the irony of his complaint because it had been launched by threats of violence.

“‘I WILL FIND YOU IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ME !!!’ … two hours later … “Help! people tell me bad and bad things, “wrote one person.

Janover was president of the Harvard Model Congress Middle East

Janover was president of the Harvard Model Congress Middle East, a non-profit organization that teaches high school students about American government and international politics. She previously worked at Planned Parenthood Action in Connecticut, says Facebook.

Harvard has yet to comment, and the officials could not be reached immediately on Wednesday.
