A woman and her nine-year-old daughter were reportedly forced to dig their graves before being buried under a courtyard by her mother’s escort.
The shocking claim was allegedly made by the deceased woman’s teenage daughter during an interview with homicide detectors in Brazil.
Fabrício Buim Arena Belinato’s partner Cristiane Arena (34) and the young stepdaughter Karoline Vitoria have been missing since November last year.
Their bodies were later found under a terrace in the courtyard of the family home in the municipality of Pompeia in San Paolo.

Analysis of her remains revealed that Cristiane was stabbed with a knife while Karoline received a blow on the head.
Police made the grim discovery on February 2 after being wary of recent preparatory work on the property.
Psychologist Belinato had previously made statements to police when the couple went missing but were released.
However, since the two bodies were discovered, the police have not been able to find him.
Neighbors said Belinato did not allow the teenager to leave the house and was reportedly very controlling.

His 16-year-old daughter was also arrested for being involved in the crime.
Police chief Claudio Anunciato Filho said they believed Belinato may have had a romantic relationship with his eldest daughter-in-law.
Investigators said the teenager said his sister’s body was buried near a plastic basin in the yard where police found him.
Police first visited the property to investigate after the teen was reported as in danger.
Police Chief Filho said: “The girl said her mother left with her youngest daughter after meeting a new boyfriend, but the statements were contradicting and we went to investigate.”
Police also discovered that Belinato had access to the victim’s bank account, who recently received severance pay after losing his job.
Police believe the deaths occurred in late November and the bodies have been buried on the property since then.
Belinato’s car was last seen in the municipality of Presidente Prudente, about a two-hour drive from Pompeia.
The investigation into the heinous crime continues.
