A woman was reportedly arrested for allegedly starting the 2018 Delta Fire in California, which burned more than 63,000 acres and destroyed 42 buildings.
The Shasta District Attorney’s Office charged Cynthia Ann LeRoux with 20 arson, including setting off a state of emergency bushfire and burning an apartment building.
Officials identified the woman arrested as Cynthia Ann LeRoux of Mountain Gate.

LeRoux will be arrested in the next few days.
The Mountain Gate resident had her bond fixed at $ 1 million.
In September 2018, firefighters said the fire was man-made and did not say at the time whether it was arson or an accident.
The Delta Fire ignited when the Golden State was in a state of emergency during the Carr Fire, which burned approximately 1,100 homes and killed eight people before being completely contained a week earlier.
