Dr. Li-Meng Yan, a Chinese virologist who allegedly went into hiding for fear of her safety, once again appeared in the public eye to make an explosive claim that she had scientific evidence to prove that COVID-19 was made by man in a laboratory in China.
Whistleblower virologist Dr. Li-Meng Yan interviewed by @TheNatPulse:
“The #Covid_19 was lab-modified based on a virus discovered and owned by the Chinese military, the Zhoushan bat coronavirus, ZC45 and ZXC21

Dr. Li-Meng Yan, a scientist
Dr. Li-Meng Yan, a scientist who claims to have done some of the first research on COVID-19 last year, made the comments on Friday during an interview on the UK talk show “Loose Women”.
When asked where the deadly virus that killed more than 900,000 people around the world came from, Yan – speaking via video chat from a secret location – replied, “He’s from the lab – Wuhan’s lab. And the lab is controlled by the Chinese government. ”
She insisted that widespread reports that the virus originated last year in a wet market in Wuhan, China, were “a smokescreen”.
“The first thing is that the [meat] market in Wuhan … is a smokescreen and this virus is not from nature,” said Yan, explaining that “he got his information from the CDC in China., Local doctors.”
The virologist had previously accused Beijing of lying when she learned of the killer virus and largely covered up her work.
Hong Kong School of Public Health
She said her former supervisors at the Hong Kong School of Public Health, a reference laboratory of the World Health Organization, silenced her when she sounded the alarm about person-to-person transmission last December.
In April, Yan reportedly fled Hong Kong and went to America to raise awareness of the pandemic.
Now she said she plans to release scientific evidence to prove that the virus was made in a laboratory in Wuhan.
“The genome sequence is like a human fingerprint,” she told the talk show. “So based on that, you can identify these things. I use the evidence … to tell people why it came from the laboratory in China, why only they did it.
Yan added, “Anyone, even if they have no knowledge of biology, can read and verify, identify and verify for themselves.”
“It is essential for us to know the origin of the virus,” she said. “Otherwise, we cannot overcome it – it will endanger everyone’s life.”
She said she was dating now because “I know if I don’t tell the world the truth, I’m going to regret it.”
Yan also said that before fleeing China, his information had been deleted from government databases.
“They erased all my information,” she told “Loose Women”, claiming that people were recruited “to spread rumors about me, that I’m a liar”.
Yuan Zhiming, director of the Wuhan Institute of Virology
Yuan Zhiming, director of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, previously denied reports that the bug had spread accidentally since its establishment.
“There is no way for this virus to come from us,” Zhiming told state media in April.
