A Brooklyn man was charged Thursday with allegedly desecrating four synagogues last week for hate crimes, police said.

Emil Benjamin, 39, was charged with graffiti last Saturday at four places of worship in Midwood.

Target synagogues were Kahal Darkei Noam on J Avenue, Midwood Young Israel Senior Services on Ocean Avenue, Khal Toras Chaim D’Flatbush on L Avenue, and Kness Bais Avigdor on J. Avenue.

More recently, Benjamin allegedly broke into the synagogue, painted graffiti, broke two cabinets and stole $ 20, police said.

Police said the graffiti in all synagogues contained derogatory but not detailed sentences.
