A Florida television reporter died after the motorcycle she was riding lost control and crashed into a tree.
Jenny Lenzini, 26, was riding her bike Saturday when the cyclist lost control and went off the road in North Port, Florida, between Sarasota and Fort Myers.

The driver died instantly when Lenzini was airlifted to the hospital in Sarasota, where he also later died.
The reporter had recently started working for NBC2 and ABC7 in Southwest Florida in July.
In recent months, he had covered everything from the coronavirus and Tropical Storm Laura, and had been interviewed with a Proud Boys executive.

Her bright smiles and passion for storytelling instantly made her a standout personality in the Fort Myers television market.
“I adored Diane Sawyer as a child and she loved being with people,” noted WBBH-TV.
Lenzini began her career as a weekend host and media reporter at KTIV in Sioux City, Iowa.
“It’s like a punch to the stomach. I had a bright future ahead of me, I was doing great things and I would do great things, ”said Keith Bliven, Director of KTIV.
She said her former colleagues were “in shock” after learning of her tragic death.
Lenzini grew up in the Chicago suburbs. Five other siblings survive.
