A Buffalo woman Joanna Gollnau was accused on Friday of beating a cyclist as she drove a van through Breonna Taylor protesters in the backcountry, as seen in a now-viral video.

Joanna Gollnau, 25, was charged with reckless endangerment and reckless driving “because she struck a cyclist with her vehicle” during protests outside city hall on Wednesday, Buffalo police said.
The prosecution followed shocking video footage of a Dodge cranking its engine as it passed through protesters and took off after running over a middle-aged woman who worked as a bicycle commissioner during the rally.

Victim Karen Huffman, 59, suffered a broken shoulder and possibly a broken wrist and is in stable condition at Erie County Medical Center, according to Buffalo News.
“I’ll be walking with you soon,” Huffman wrote on his Facebook page, which had a profile photo next to #BlackLivesMatter that read “Silence is not an option.”
“Sadly, I accepted that cycling won’t be done for a while. I know some of you are relieved to hear that I can be reasonable, lol,” added the board member. from Slow Roll, a group that promotes organized local bike tours.
The upstate incident was just one of many viral videos in which drivers reportedly walked through protesters on the streets after deciding not to charge Kentucky police with Taylor’s death.
A pickup truck was also filmed as it was driven by protesters in Los Angeles on Thursday and hit a woman – as a car drove through a crowd at a rally in Denver on Wednesday.
