Kaitlyn Bristowe, the recently crowned ABC champion “Dancing with the Stars,” and her boyfriend Jason Tartick have Covid-19, posted on Instagram.
Kaitlyn Bristowe, a “The Bachelor” alumnus, shared the news with Tartick, who was also previously nominated for “The Bachelorette.”
“Unfortunately, this is our Christmas card this year,” Bristowe wrote. “We have Covid.

The couple tried to self-quarantine before the holidays so they could see the family, Bristowe said. But they felt it was safe to have more than one person test work every day.
“The day we saw her she turned positive, which we all found out the next day,” she wrote. “Now, like many, we will spend Christmas alone.”
“We just want everyone to know that we thought we were safe, but Covid is bigger than us,” she added.
CNN medical analyst Dr. Leana Wen said that people should avoid indoor encounters with people who are not in their immediate homes. But when people gather at home, it is safest to self-quarantine for 10 to 14 days before the meeting.
“This virus spreads so easily indoors,” she said. “There are steps that can be taken to reduce the spread, like opening all the windows and doors and having different families at different tables. But you know that there is always a significant risk.
In his Instagram post, Tartick said, “You can never be too careful and careful. You can’t rethink this divine virus, lesson learned.”
