A young girl was charged with a terrible accident in which a dog sitter was seriously injured and her beloved pet, Staffie, died.
The victim, known locally and online as Patricia Faulkner, 53, was walking her eight-year-old Millie dog when she was hit by a car on July 22 last year.

Heartbreaking documents from the accident showed the woman walking her dog before the black Renault Clio collided with them and threw them into a hedge.

She survived the accident with a broken leg and a cut down her calf, but her beloved dog sadly died on the side of the road.
Kallum Aish, now 18, was 17 and was arrested on August 7 last year, but has now been charged with various crimes.
Aish of Finchley Road in Kingstanding, Birmingham has been charged with causing serious injury due to dangerous driving, not stopping at the scene of an accident, driving without insurance or a license, criminal damage and possession of cannabis.
He is expected to appear for the first time before Birmingham Magistrates Court on January 28th.
CCTV footage showed the couple were beaten at 5pm on Doe Bank Lane in Great Barr, Birmingham.
Immediately after the crash, the clip showed the driver and passengers escaping from the car and crashing into another lower car.
Patricia told The Express and Star: “It was a huge shock – you don’t expect to leave the house to walk the dog and get to the hospital. Coming home without Millie was heartbreaking, she had been with us for four years.
Images released by West Midlands Police in August went viral and have been shared and viewed thousands of times by millions of people.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “We wish the woman injured in the accident the very best in her recovery.”
At the time of Aish’s arrest, a police spokesperson said: “We arrested a teenager as part of our investigation into a shocking collision that resulted in a dog sitter and her dog overturning. pet.
Investigators released images of the collision earlier this week as part of an inquiry.
The clip showed the horrific moment when a woman and her dog were hit by a car on Doe Bank Lane on Wednesday 22 July.

“ Today we arrested a 17-year-old boy from Birmingham’s Kingstanding neighborhood after the public identified him as a possible Renault Clio driver.
“He has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injuries from dangerous driving and is currently in police custody, where he is being questioned by investigators.”
An urgent security petition was also written at Doe Bank Lane in Pheasey, and more than 900 people signed it on September 9, 2020.
The petition called for measures to limit traffic and road safety measures after the terrible accident.
