Shortly after midnight on Tuesday morning, videos captured the moment when a provisional bomb was dropped on the Portland federal court during another night of violent protests. A woman Karla Fox in love with Trump quickly showed up to publicly denounce the suspect – as her own grandson.

She is 69 years old.

Karla Fox recognized the alleged terrorist

Karla Fox says she recognized the alleged terrorist as the son of her daughter, 18-year-old Gabriel “Rico” Agard-Berryhill.

In the hours after the IED attack, social media users analyzed videos showing a thin man wearing a distinctive olive green vest with the word “ICONS” on it and throwing something over it. Fence at the Mark O. Hatfield courthouse. Seconds later, a big explosion breaks out and the front door goes up in flames. Man picks up something from the floor and sprints from the camera. Police said the concussion could “be heard and felt more than a block away.”

Fox immediately identified her grandson because she gave him the vest.

“I bought the vest for him after finding one online after being hit by rubber bullets the night before,” Fox told The Post. (She even gave a positive rating on the Hibbett clothing page: “I got this for my grandson who is a downtown protester. He uses it every night and says she does the job.”) She has one Post photo of him posing in non-bulletproof clothing.

Agard-Berryhill

Agard-Berryhill appeared to admit his misguided involvement in the text message incident to the post on Thursday, although he did not confirm that he was the bomber.

“The device I was accused of throwing was reportedly given to me by an unknown protester wearing a full face mask,” he wrote. “I was told it was a flash of fire that would not damage the building or hurt anyone in the area.”

He added, “Law enforcement has not yet contacted me about a suspected crime.”

Late that night Agard-Berryhill told his parole officer that he wanted to surrender. He was arrested by the US marshals and was admitted to the Multnomah County Detention Center, according to an affidavit by an official from the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives Bureau. He is charged with arson and must face at least five years in prison if convicted. He was released without bail.

He told the investigator that the device he was about to launch “had yellow cardboard packaging with blue stripes, the size of a small V8 can, and a green fuse.”

“No legitimate protest message is brought out by throwing a large explosive device at a government building. Mr. Agard-Berryhill’s actions could have injured law enforcement officers near the courthouse, other nearby demonstrators, or seriously injured themselves, ”said the United States Attorney. ‘Oregon, Billy Williams.

The bombing shocked the grandmother of Agard-Berryhill, a conservative who supports President Trump and whose home in Portland is full of MAGA goods.

She says that she was unaware of her grandson’s policies and that she did not know that the protests in Portland, which are now taking place in the second month, were characterized by nighttime riots.

Fox says the last time she saw her grandson last week, he said he protested peacefully and “protected a girl.” A man in the same vest, identified in the affidavit as “Rico”, appears in a viral video dated July 18 that uses a shield to protect a naked protester nicknamed “Naked Athena”.

“I believed all of his stories,” says Fox. “He said he was just hanging out with Riot Ribs [an anarchist food cooperative] doing peaceful things.”

“I don’t tolerate any of this,” Fox told the post. “I am amazed at all of these events.”

In her last text message, she said with her grandson that he asked her to remove the photo of him with the vest and remove his comment on the purchase.

She says she saw the video for the first time on Wednesday when a family member contacted her with links to Twitter.

TRUMPSGIRL2020”

Fox posted “@ TRUMPSGIRL2020” under the Twitter handle and tweeted a reply to an article with the photo of Agard-Berryhill: “He is my only grandson, I love him to death and I didn’t know he was that bad I had posted some things about Antifa and BLM, he knows I’m against these large scale riots … he chose his poison.
