CRISTIANO Ronaldo’s rape accuser Kathryn Mayorga is fighting a judge’s decision to remove “vital” evidence from the case – and she is determined to face the footballer in court.

Kathryn Mayorga Age

Kathryn Mayorga, 35, wrote to the US appeals court that documents allegedly obtained from a hacker can be used against the Juventus player.

Ronaldo alleged that a cybercriminal invented the stolen papers in order to find him guilty, which were later passed on to German magazine Der Spiegel.

He wants some of the documents to be excluded from the case – but Ms. Mayorga accuses her own team of failing to protect them.

She claims that Ronaldo’s lawyer did not “adequately protect” her or “took reasonable steps to investigate the documents and recover them from whatever source”.

Ms. Mayorga claims Juventus ace Ronaldo, 35, attacked her at the Vegas Palms Casino Resort in June 2009 – allegations the player has denied.

She then decided not to prosecute and signed a non-disclosure agreement in January 2010.

However, in September 2018, when the #MeToo movement broke out, Mayorga broke the deal with an interview.

The Las Vegas police reopened the case, but prosecutors later announced that Ronaldo would not be prosecuted as the allegations “cannot be beyond doubt”.

Mayorga has decided to initiate civil proceedings against Ronaldo seeking £ 165,000 in damages.

The Sun recently revealed new documents filed in Nevada District Court highlight the latest turn in the couple’s litigation.

Ms. Mayorga of Las Vegas claims she was mentally incapable when she took £ 290,000 from the Portuguese star ten years ago under the nondisclosure agreement.

She plans to file a new civil lawsuit against him in US courts for an additional £ 165,000 in damages for attacking her in a hotel room in Las Vegas.
