Game between the Kansas City chief and the Houston Texans
During the game between the Kansas City chief and the Houston Texans, Keedron Bryant, 13, shared the viral song, written by his mother, Johnetta, in May, after George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis.
On Friday on The Morning Show, Keedron offered a sample of his new song, “You Got This” – which he will record to play during Sunday’s Jaguars game.
He also broke what it means to be responsible for being a voice in a movement and still being a teenager.
“My‘ I Just Wanna Live ’life has changed a lot. I did a lot of interviews. I do a lot of music and sing now, so it’s been a life-changing moment, ”said Keedron.
Keedron understands the impact of his voice and words, but says that when it is not a business he is still a teenager.
“I still do normal teen stuff,” he says. “I play my games. I watch on YouTube. I go out, exercise and ride a bike and still enjoy the day-to-day things.
Your mother sees your power and potential. She thinks her future is as bright as her smile.
“He’s a prized child,” said Johnetta. “He is appreciated this season. He is needed this season and is definitely an asset. It will inspire and encourage many people. ”
Keedron’s latest song has a different message, but still hope and faith.
“It’s a rhythmic arrangement song. You feel good in your soul just by having faith in God and in yourself,” he said.
This season, the Jaguars are using the battle cry “DuvALL TOGETHER” to unite and inspire the community.
Keedron is one of those efforts during the halftime show. He will be part of a recorded version of his new song, continuing to make his hometown proud.
