A “DEMON dog” that killed a young girl attacked other pets in the area, neighbors say.
The woman, known locally as Keira Ladlow, was alone in the Birmingham home when she was brutally attacked by the dog.

Astonished residents of Kitts Green, Birmingham heard her screaming and asking for help from her, claiming that the dog had bitten her arm in her bed.
Keira’s body was found by a distraught relative when neighbors recall hearing the dog, believed to be owned by a family member, bark “incredibly loud.”
A neighbor said that she heard Keira walking her dog at night because she was a “demon dog” who had previously tried to attack other pets in the area.
But they said she Keira thought she might try to “tame” the dog.
The 19-year-old “Keira would walk her dog at night as soon as it got dark because she didn’t want to see other dog sitters on the property.
“We heard that her dog tried to attack two or three other neighborhood dogs.
“Someone said it was a ferocious rescue dog and Keira tried to tame it.
“They called him a demon dog. I’ve never seen it, but sometimes I’ve felt it.
“Keira has always kept to herself. She was very calm and no one here knew her, but we are all very sad about what happened and our thoughts are with our family. It’s awful. ”
Police and paramedics rushed into town around 2 p.m. Friday.
Keira, 20, was pronounced dead by emergency services at the scene.
The rescue dog is now “humanely” downed.
Keira’s cousin Megan Woodhouse thanked him from the bottom of her heart and wrote: “The idea of this beautiful girl not being with us hurts so much.
“I love you sweetie and thank you for giving us all the smiles and laughs when you were there.” I will never forget your amazing self. Sleep well, my dear cousin. ”
People paid tribute
Locals and people on social media paid tribute to Keira, who was 20 years old and died on Friday.
Locals said Keira was an avid kickboxer and member of the Force One Club near her family’s home in Yardley, Birmingham.
Maggie Moss, considered a friend of the family, wrote on Facebook: “RIP Keira Ladlow. Thoughts are with her family at this sad time, God bless you xxx.”
Luke Beale wrote: “Keira Force one forever”.
A source said: “The poor girl was heard by neighbors screaming and asking for help.
“The screams were extremely loud. It is also possible that she hears an incredibly loud dog barking in the house. It was constant.
“The girl was very hurt. She was horrible. It is heartbreaking. Your family is completely devastated.”
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: ‘No one was on the property at the time and the woman’s family turned the dog, believed to be a Staffordshire cross, over to the police.
“He is humanly asleep.
“Death is considered a tragic accident, but without suspicious circumstances.
“A file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.”
