Kramat Khan badly touched the flight attendant

Kramat Khan badly touched the flight attendant without her consent and later grabbed her in his arms from behind, kissed her on the neck and ignored her request to stop.

The 36-year-old also took off his shirt and called on other passengers to fight on the easyJet flight to Tenerife on June 29 last year.

The court heard that the flight pilot asked Khan for a priority landing in Tenerife because of Khan.

Khan of Stone Close, Great Denham, served his sentence on Monday after being convicted by Luton Crown Court.

He will be jailed for six months for endangering a plane, and another two months for running simultaneously for s*xual assault and one month for aggravated racial harassment.

Bedfordshire Police said Khan had repeatedly refused to leave his seat and take off his shirt.

Khan ignored her and his behavior escalated to become abusive and aggressive towards the crew and other passengers. He called a brawl and was racially abusive against the crew members who attempted to help “said a police spokesperson.

“The pilot was forced to request a priority landing in Tenerife.

However, the crew made the decision to report Khan’s behavior to the police upon his return to the UK.

Sergeant James Hart of Bedfordshire Airport Police said

Sergeant James Hart of Bedfordshire Airport Police said: “Khan’s behavior posed a serious risk to the crew and passengers. He disrespected a female crew member and left them shaken and desperate for a few days.

“We are happy that the gravity of his actions has been recognized by the court in the form of a prison sentence.

“The primary responsibility of the crew is the safety of the aircraft and its passengers, and Khan’s behavior compromises that.

“Abusive and disruptive passengers should be expected to be treated firmly, and this behavior is never acceptable, let alone on board an aircraft.”

Mick Broster, Head of Security at easyJet, said: “Although serious disruptive passenger incidents are rare, easyJet will not tolerate them. We take her very seriously, always push for law enforcement and have worked fully with the police to investigate. ‘
