She had described her fight against the corona virus on Facebook.
Three days after being admitted to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, the singer wrote: “I can barely move without losing my breath. I can only speak in sentences.
“I fall asleep and sleep, but my breathing wakes me up. I feel someone walking on my chest and my back. I feel like I’m coming home, I think things get worse before they get better.
“It is so real. The room I’m in is full. There are six nurses and caregivers and more than 36 patients.
“You’re overwhelmed. Please be careful, make sure. I was and look where this has taken me.”
Kyanna, who has performed with the Norwich Community Choir, has served as a shield since March, The Mirror reported.
Since childhood, she has suffered from fragile asthma, a rare and serious form of the disease.
Kyanna was hospitalized after an asthma attack and tested positive for Covid-19.
Her mother Kirstie, 48, also tested positive for the virus.
She told the Mirror how Kyanna first received an oxygen mask and then a bladder plug.
Kyanna’s last online post was on January 21st and she said, “Come on guys, let’s find strength and love and fight together.”
She received respiratory assistance three days later.
Kirstie said that she couldn’t see her daughter at this point because she was also battling the virus, but the couple would have Facetime.
She told the newspaper: “The last time we spoke was before he was fully ventilated and she asked me, ‘Mom, be honest, am I better?’
“I joked that she had to wash her hair. It was the last conversation we had.
Mom said she was “shocked” when the doctor said there was nothing else for Kyanna to do.
Kirstie and her sister held one of Kyanna’s hands while the survival machine was off.
Kyanna’s friends opened a GoFundMe page to give the singer the greeting she deserves from her.
