LeDarron Demarion Carter was convicted Thursday of manslaughter of Deverous D. Holden, the Caddo District Attorney said.
The offense is usually punished with a maximum sentence of 40 years. But since it was Carter’s second serious felony conviction, the limit is longer and he must serve it without parole or suspension, prosecutors said.
Holden was killed on June 12, 2019. A jury convicted Carter on September 24th. He was convicted by District Judge John D. Mosely Jr.
