Two victims were killed and one injured on Friday when an active sniper opened fire inside the Bunn-O-Matic warehouse in Springfield.
A man in his twenties and sixties was killed. A 50-year-old woman is in critical condition.
The police were called for a shooting shortly after 11 a.m. The first police officer arrived on the scene one minute after the call.
Police said two victims were shot inside the building and one was shot in the parking lot.

The Bunn-O-Matic warehouse is located at Adlai Stevenson Dr.
Stevenson Dr. was blocked from 13th St. for Allia, but has since reopened.
Police said Collins had fled the scene. They were informed at 1:49 p.m. by Morgan County police that the suspect was found dead inside his vehicle on Leech Farm Rd. on overpass I-72. He had a valid FOID card, officials said, and police found two pistols in his vehicle.
After 6:00 p.m. Friday, police in Springfield confirmed that a self-inflicted gunshot wound had killed Collins.

Collins was an active employee at Bunn-O-Matic. The police contacted him in June 1991, when he was arrested, accused of aggravated criminal s*xual abuse for having contributed to the delinquency of a minor.
There are no additional suspects, police said on Friday evening.

Police said they couldn’t speak for a reason at the time, but said Collins and the victims knew each other.
