A Gold Coast social media star Mikayla Noakes pleaded guilty to playing a role in a suspected drug syndicate with a Michael Gordon former NRL player.

Mikayla Noakes was among seven people arrested on suspected MDMA and cocaine cross-border syndicate in New South Wales and Queensland.

The 20-year-old appeared in the Tweed Heads District Court on Monday. He was charged with participating in a criminal organization contributing to criminal activity and participating in the supply of a banned drug.
The Casuarina model on the north coast of New South Wales pleaded not guilty on either count and her case was adjourned to January 15.
The Instagram star has over 12,000 subscribers and frequently shows off her bikini body to fans and advertises fashion and swimwear brands.
She did not speak to the media after appearing in court, NCA NewsWire reported.
Ms. Noakes was arrested along with six others, including former NRL player and Gold Coast Titans specialty coach Michael Gordon, following raids in New South Wales and on Saturday.
Detectives had been investigating the alleged distribution of illicit drugs between the two states since May.
They raided homes in Casuarina and Terranora, northern New South Wales, and searched homes in Robina, Burleigh Waters and Miami, Queensland.
Police reportedly found cocaine, MDMA, steroids, over $ 60,000 in cash, cell phones and drug paraphernalia.
Michael Gordon former NRL player
Gordon was charged with two cases of supplying a banned drug and two cases of possession of a banned drug.
He has been given strict conditional bail and will appear in the local Tweed Heads court on December 14th.
The Gold Coast Titans said in a statement that Gordon had been removed from his coaching duties at the club.
“Michael worked under contract and offered the club specialized coaching services last season,” said the Titans’ statement. “He will not offer the club any services until further notice.”
Tate Robinson was also arrested during the police operation, with Ms. Noakes appearing frequently in popular posts on her Instagram account.
The 22-year-old has been charged with 20 criminal offenses, including supplying a banned drug, continuous supply of banned drugs and participating in a criminal group that contributes to criminal activity.
The young surfer was arrested and will appear in court on January 15th.
Other charges against the alleged union include a 20-year-old man charged with supplying and possessing a prohibited drug.
A 21-year-old man was charged with participating in a criminal organization, contributing to criminal activity, and participating in the supply of a banned drug.
A 21- and 31-year-old man was arrested in Queensland and is being extradited to New South Wales.
Brendon Cullen, chief inspector of Tweed and Byron Police Department, said the arrests are older than the schoolchildren.
“Byron Bay is one of the busiest places on the east coast of Australia right now. Thousands of school children are expected to fill coastal cities in the next few weeks,” said Detective Cullen.
“ These drugs were (supposedly) intended for our streets, and these arrests have severely disrupted the supply chain in school areas.
“The police will claim in court that this union operated across the border and we are delighted to bring these people to justice.
