The 1980s heartbreaker NICK Kamen who became famous when he undressed in a Levi ad has died at the age of 59 after a long battle with cancer.

The Essex-born hunk was most famous for the 1985 Levi 501 ad just wearing his boxers to a laundromat when Marvin Gayes played Heard It Through The Grapevine.
He also sang with Madonna on the 1986 hit “Every Time You Break My Heart”.
Nick Kamen Death Cause
A cause of death has not been confirmed, but in 2018 his team posted on Instagram that he had cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy.
His neighbors at his £ 1 million home in Notting Hill, west London, also told The Mail Online that he was fighting bone marrow cancer.
Tragically, his death comes six years after the death of his brother Barry Kamen from a heart attack at the age of 52.
Honors have been received for Nick, the real name Ivor Neville Kamen, led by Boy George.

Singer Tinita Tikaram said, “Sad to hear that Nick Kamen has died. He was nice and sweet, none of the ego of someone who had just set the world on fire with his extraordinary beauty. My condolences to his family.”
Nick Cave’s designer wife Suzie called Nick a “dear friend,” while ’90s pop star Kavana said, “R.I.P. Nick came beautiful inside and out.”
Nick made a career for himself when he was only 18 years old after undressing for the hugely successful Levi commercial on his boxers.
The ad resulted in a huge spike in sales for Levi and resulted in a countdown to the 100 greatest ads of all time.
It also caught the eye of Madonna, who reached out to Nick with a song she had written with Stephen Bray to help her team up.
The megastar later said she was inspired by his “charisma” and “beautiful voice”.
Every time you break my heart, it reached number five in the UK and resulted in a successful music career for Nick.
Between 1987 and 1992 he had four records – including a cover of the 1996 hit Loving You Is Sweeter Than Ever by Four Tops.
His other songs include Turn It Up by Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Soundtrack.
