Ohio Police are looking for a nurse Nichole Bronowski who has been missing for a week and whose mother Norma Matko was found dead in an apparent murder on Thanksgiving Day.

Nichole Bronowski Age

According to News 5 Cleveland, Nichole Bronowski, 45, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, hasn’t been seen since the evening of November 25th. Her ex-husband reported that Bronowski went missing on Thanksgiving, according to the news channel. That day, Bronowski’s mother, Norma Matko, 69, was found dead at her home in Barnesville, about 185 miles from Cuyahoga Falls.

Investigators believe Matko was murdered but have not released any information about the cause of death. Authorities have not yet clarified whether they believe Matko’s death and Bronowski’s disappearance are linked.

News 5 Cleveland reports that Belmont County Police were due to hold a press conference on the case on Tuesday, but it was abruptly canceled.

According to the report, Bronowski is the clinical coordinator and district nurse for public schools in Akron.

“Akron Public Schools and its staff are thinking of Nichole and his family in hopes of his safe return to his family and our schools,” APS Superintendent David James said in a statement to the news station.
