Police discovered 50 pounds of drugs after looting the dealer’s homes and a white van.

Expensive designer watches and Harrods purchase receipts were found during a search of their homes.

Loizides was seen outside Sawyer’s home in Redbridge, east London, last October, pulling two large Sports Direct bags from his car that were difficult to transport.

He put the two suitcases in a white van that he had arrived in before leaving.

Police followed him before arresting him in Islington, north London. He had a large sum of money and a heated telephone. There was nice fur under one of the back seats.

Authorities searched Loizides’ address in Chelmsford, Essex, where they found three kilograms of cocaine, more than £ 55,000 in cash, several designer watches and a series of high-quality Harrods purchase receipts.

When Sawyer was arrested 45 minutes later, officers found the keys to the white truck that Loizides had originally arrived at and unlocked it.

Inside they found the two Sports Direct bags. One of the bags contained 24 one-pound stones of cocaine. The second pocket was empty. Under the floor, at the back, was a hidden skin that contained another 17 kilos of cocaine.

Beckley was followed by police onto the M25, where he was pulled over by tagged cars. A blue travel bag on the passenger floor contained another five kilograms of cocaine.

A total of 41 kilograms of cocaine were found in the back of the white van. A total of 49 kilograms of cocaine were seized, with an estimated market value of almost 6 million pounds.

conspiracy supply

They were charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs. Loizides was also charged with possession of criminal property in connection with the seized money.

Loizides pleaded guilty when they appeared in Snaresbrook Crown Court last November.

Loizides was sentenced to 11 years in prison by the same court last Thursday.

Sawyer was sentenced to eight years in prison, while Beckley, of West Malling, Kent, was sentenced to four years and four months in prison.

Chief Inspector of Detectives Driss Hayoukane of the Met’s Crime Specialist Command said: “The efforts these men have made to conceal their criminal activities by keeping their car skins a secret are not something an ordinary person would think of.

“On the other hand, most ordinary people would not even consider carrying about 50 pounds of cocaine in their vehicles.”

DCI Hayoukane added: “We have said it before and we will say it again. We are committed to handcuffing those involved in drug supply violations and ensuring that they spend a long time in prison.”
