Rone Leja, 61, and Elizabeth Kosteck, 54, were shot dead at 8 o’clock. After attending a St. Patrick’s congregation, Michael is near the Square Celt restaurant on 39 Orland Square Drive. Women were taken to Silver Cross Hospital where Leja was reported as dead. Kosteck was later treated and released.
Michael’s school in Orland Park said that Leja was a technical teacher there and Kosteck a third-grade teacher.
Orland Park police chief Tim McCarthy said the driver also left Square Celt. The only explanation for the car was that it was colored. He said the authorities were checking the surveillance video.
The manager said his department had “important clues” and asked the driver to guide him. He said he did not understand that the driver was beaten on women.
