Heartbreaking photos show the remains of three-year-old Nikita Soshkin, who was lying in bed with his fists clenched in pain when he died and wiped his tears in Russia

Nikita Soshkin organs exploded and he died of internal bleeding after his stepfather, Sergey Lavrenov, 34, brutally beat him. A court has been reported.

An autopsy showed that the boy died painfully and slowly after the small intestine was torn from his stomach by terrible blows.

Police, who found the boy dead on the bed, handed over photos to the court showing his swollen stomach with clenched fists.

The pose indicated that the boy had cried and dried his tears, his body stiffened in that position after his death, OM1 reports.

Nikita died in July of this year in the city of Presnovka in southern Russia.

Incident Details

Lavrenov attacked Nikita at home after returning from a drink with friends, police said.

The drunk kicked the boy multiple times in the stomach before shooting him in his bedroom, investigators added.

Nikita’s mother, Nadezhda Soshkina, 23, was unable to control him for eight hours after the beating.

Om1 reports that he died in his bed while his mother and stepfather slept in the next room.

Although Soshkina found her lifeless body, instead of immediately alerting paramedics, “she washed and changed thoroughly, cleaned the apartment, then called an ambulance,” the newspaper added.

The mother of four later told local media: “I went with him [Nikita] to wake him up and put him on the potty, but his body was already cold

“I took care of the livestock and my husband and Nikita entered the house. The younger girl was there.

“When I came out of the stable, I heard Nikita was crying. I went into the house and asked my son what happened.

“He didn’t tell me. He had no bruises on his body. He ordered a drink and said he was going to bed.”

The couple called an ambulance hours after their injured body was discovered, Nikita’s grandmother Svetlana Lymar confirmed.

Lymar said: “At around 6 am they found out the boy was dead. Then the mother wiped the body with a damp cloth and changed the dirty clothes.

“[Soshkina] cleaned her house and just called an ambulance. He told the paramedics the boy fell off the swing. ”

A witness said: “The boy’s stomach swelled. His eyes were wide open and his fists were closed. He died in excruciating pain. ”

Soshkina first tried to cover Lavrenov, claiming that her son was hit by a swing. But then he changed his testimony based on strong evidence, investigators said.

The Omsk Regional Commission of Inquiry said that on the night of July 28 “the boy’s parents were drinking alcoholic beverages with their friends.

“The stepfather kicked the boy in the stomach because he was crying.

“The victim suffered severe internal organ injuries and died.

“The boy’s mother, who knew about his trauma, didn’t call the ambulance and didn’t try to help him.”

Jury Decision

Okoneshnikovsky District Court found Sergey Lavrenov guilty of serious personal injury resulting in death and sentenced the monster to twelve and a half years in prison.

A prosecutor said: “The defendant pleaded partially guilty and said he beat the boy but did not want to kill him.”

At the hearing Lavrenov complained to the judges: “I didn’t want it to happen like this. Alcohol is responsible for everything. ”

But neighbors insisted that Lavrenov “did not like him and kept beating him”.

The man cruelly punished the child “for everything” with “the mother’s tacit consent,” villagers said.

After Nikita’s shocking death, Soshkina was seen “working with Lavrenov to choose a small coffin for her son,” an indignant woman said.

Local social activist Alesya Grigorieva added: “I cannot call this little girl a mother. He didn’t have a single photo of the boy in his life. ”

Local authorities threaten to deprive Soshkina of her parental rights over three other sons, another son and two daughters, all under the age of five.

The woman is also under investigation for leaving a child “at risk” and “violation of parental obligations,” according to local media.

You risk a prison sentence of up to one year and a fine if convicted.
