Immigration officials said Brandon Korff received special permission to enter the country on Friday to visit his brother, who serves in the IDF.
But Korff “violated the isolation orders from the moment he entered the country and met his Israeli partner” and “stayed with her in the same apartment,” the Population and Immigration Authority said on Sunday.
He said that Korff was ordered to leave the country immediately.
The statement did not identify Korff’s partner, but he does date the 18-year-old Israeli model, Yael Shelbia, who does compulsory military service.
Shelbia has appeared in campaigns for the Israeli clothing company Renuar and Kim Kardashian’s KKW Beauty makeup line.
In March, Israel prohibited the entry of non-citizens or residents in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The country requires that anyone arriving from abroad remains in quarantine for two weeks.
Last week, the deputy director of the Israeli Ministry of Health was criticized after an Israeli billionaire businessman was exempted from segregation orders.
