The demon wanted in connection with a violent and unprovoked attack on a teenager at a Lower East Side subway station was arrested this week in connection with a r*pe in Baltimore, law enforcement sources said Friday.

Subhan Zaib, 26, was wanted in connection with the June 10 attack on a 19-year-old woman whom he allegedly punched from behind, choked and repeatedly injured as she descended the stairs at Delancey station/ Essex St. the sources said.

The teenager was taken to Lenox Health Greenwich Village in stable condition with neck bruises and a stab wound, police said.

After the attack, Zaib traveled to Baltimore where he allegedly r*ped and robbed a victim four days later in the Shipping Place neighborhood of Dundalk, Charm City police said.

He was arrested the next day and held without bond in the Baltimore County Detention Center, authorities said.

Zaib has five pending arrests in Brooklyn and Queens, all related to incidents that occurred days before the June 10 attack.

According to law enforcement, none of the Queens incidents were eligible for bail.

According to the Queen’s Attorney’s Office, he was released without bond for each incident.

According to a criminal complaint

On June 7, Zaib broke into the women’s restroom at Rock Church on Hoffman Drive near 57th Avenue in Elmhurst.

According to the complaint, when a volunteer confronted him, she turned off the light in the room, grabbed her by the shoulders and slammed her against the wall.

According to the court document, the victim managed to free himself from Zaib’s grip and escape.

When a man tried to arrest Zaib outside the church, the suspect growled, “I can kill you. I can shoot you.

The main charge in the case, according to police sources, was attempted third-degree assault.

He was also arrested, records show, for second-degree threats and criminal malice related to separate June 1 complaints and aggravated harassment related to a May 30 complaint.

According to the criminal complaint, Zaib was also arrested in connection with the alleged assault of a woman he met at a hotel in East New York on June 4.

He punched the victim in the face, hit her with a belt and threatened her with a knife, according to the criminal complaint.

Although the main charge in this case – second-degree assault – could be released on bail, the victim gave the police a false phone number and was not reached, which made it difficult to constitute of the case, according to a police source.

Zaib was released with his own permission.
