Euless City Police Department confirmed the death of Taylor Dee
A representative from the Euless City Police Department confirmed to Fox News that the Greener Grass singer died Sunday after a car crash on State Highway 183 near Euless, Texas.
Police said they arrived at the scene around 10:05 pm. Find Dee – née Taylor Dawn Carroll – in “serious condition” a short distance outside the vehicle.
“A 36-year-old man who was also an occupant of the vehicle was found outside the vehicle with non-life threatening injuries,” the press release said.
“Investigators discovered that the Chevrolet Trailblazer was attempting to change lanes abruptly out of the TEXpress lane when it struck a guardrail,” the press release added. “The impact blew the Trailblazer into the air and struck the roof of a vertical steel road sign before coming to rest upside down on the highway.
Authorities believe Dee was driving the car and not wearing a seat belt and that alcohol “may be a factor.”
They added: “The investigation is still ongoing, but there do not appear to be any criminal charges related to the collision.”
She died at 10:52 p.m., according to online files from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office. In a hospital.

A representative from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for further comment.
A GoFundMe was created after Dee’s death, with Karla Terrell listed as a beneficiary. It’s currently unclear who Terrell is in relation to Dee, but the site asks, “Please help our family put them to rest.”
According to the online fundraiser, the singer has had two children.
“She will be loved and will be missed forever,” the site said. “She left this world sooner than either of us was ready.”
Texas Country Music Association president Linda Wilson paid tribute to the aspiring musician in a statement to a local CBS outlet.

“Taylor Dee was the real deal – a real talent with heart and passion, not just for their music but also for the people,” she said. “Her talent was evident in every performance, but more importantly, she let her fans know her heart. She will be sorely missed.”
