A Missouri man is accused of beating his girlfriend’s 5-year-old son to death while in labor
Yoshuah Dallas, 24, is behind bars following the death of the disabled Jamarion Delancy. According to KMOV, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and the Associated Press, Dallas babysat the boy and his older sister in their St. Louis County apartment.
The babies were left in Dallas after their mother gave birth on November 17th. The next day, Dallas took Jamarion to St. Louis Children’s Hospital for “urgent medical attention,” according to a GoFundMe page initiated by the St. Louis County Police Association.

Jamarion suffered a “devastating” trauma and ultimately died of his injuries, according to the police association. His injuries included a torn liver and intestine, a broken rib, and bruises on his face and mouth that caused profuse internal bleeding.
During their investigation, investigators found that Jamarion was blind and had limited mobility, which required the use of braces on his legs.
“Jamarion had no way of defending itself from the suspect’s attack,” wrote the police association.
St. Louis County Police Department was ordered to investigate, arrest, and indict Dallas on November 19 for child abuse or neglect that resulted in death.
